Let's Be Friends!

What's Happenin'

A Fabulous February to You!

I have a confession.

I don't really like February.

You're thinking, "What the heck did February ever do to you?!" The answer: nothing. And that's just the problem. February is cold and slow and it seems to be the weird limbo month that can't decide if it wants to be Spring or Winter- so it's both. I know this is Texas, and it doesn't like to commit to a season, it just does whatever it wants. Amen? Amen.

But, despite all that... I'm giving February another shot. See, I can be reasonable.

I'm excited because even though things are slow as far as shows and events happening, I now have time to catch up and speed up the work I'm putting in for the rest of the year and for that, February, I thank you.

Tomorrow is going to be the highlight of my week- perhaps even the month- as I'm going back into studio to continue work on my EP!! EEEEEK! I hope y'all are excited about this because I really am. It's a crazy process and I'm learning a ton, and all I know is that it'll just make me better. I have not scheduled a release date as of yet, but I hope that I'll have a better idea come March.

So, I'm going to be spending the rest of the month preparing my band and myself for what the rest of 2019 has in store. It's taken a really long time to find the guys I think are right for the band, and now I've got some really excellent players and I'm looking forward to putting on some great shows for y'all later on this year!

Stay tuned to Facebook, Instagram and of course here for updates on all the shows I have coming up throughout the Spring and if you have any questions drop me a line in the comment section and I'll get back to you ASAP. Also be on the look out for merchandise updates in the store- shirts and koozies and stickers make great gifts. I'm just sayin.

You know? I think February is gonna be alright after all.

Vegas, Baby!

It's the MOST wonderful time of the year.

Isn't that the truth? Not only is it Christmas time and cold outside, but also, it's time for the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, Nevada! If you're unfamiliar, go check it out at The NFR Experience. This is a huge event in Vegas every year where thousands upon thousands of cowboys and cowgirls come from all over to compete in rodeo events for two weeks. But, you don't need me to tell you this, you've got the link.

You may be wondering why I'm talking about the rodeo. You're over there thinking, "Doesn't this chick sing songs?... or is she now rodeoing? (it's a verb) I'm SO CONFUSED!"

Don't fret. I don't rodeo.

If I tried to throw a rope I'd catch my foot and break my face. It's not safe for me or anyone in close proximity. THE REASON I'm telling you all this is because I am about to hop on a plane for Vegas and I'm so excited to tell y'all that I'm going to be playing my music for all these awesome cowboys and cowgirls for 3 days at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino! This is a huge opportunity and I'm so thankful that Group W Productions has invited me to play at Country Christmas during the NFR.

I'll be playing for thousands of people and it'll be great exposure for my music. Also, doesn't hurt that Vegas is a super cool city! So if you find yourself feeling jet-setty then get a ticket and come hang out in Vegas for a couple days December 12-16! But, if you can't join on such short notice- then follow along on my Facebook and Instagram pages for updates and all things Vegas and NFR while I'm out there. And when I get back I promise to tell you all about it. Oh! I almost forgot! You can watch me LIVE on Wednesday when I join Mr. Anthony Lucia on his segment called Live with Lucia. So y'all check it out if you can!

Alright, that's enough from me! I wanna wish y'all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Can't wait to see y'all on the road in 2019. BIG things to come!

Cheers, y'all!

April Showers, May Flowers, and Texas Summer Heat

Well, here in Texas we tend to go through Spring super fast. We're pretty much done with it and the heat is well on its way. Giddyup!

The Spring has been great but I am super excited for what is coming up this summer. Between gigs around Texas, music festivals, and a quick tour through New Mexico, Colorado and Wyoming, this summer is gonna be full of music... and oil changes. And maybe new tires. We'll see.

So, something I do need your help with (if you can spare a couple minutes while you're on the interwebs). Now through June 22nd you can help me out by nominating me here http://www.texascountrymusicassociation.org/2018nominate for the 2018 TCMA Awards! It only takes a couple of minutes and there are several categories you can nominate for! So if you are a music lover go nominate your favorite artists, musicians, venues, and radio stations! Tell your friends and family too!

Be sure to keep up with shows and other goings on through my Facebook page, Instagram and I'm now on Twitter. I confess, I really don't know what to do with Twitter but I have one. There, I said it.

Y'all take care and enjoy that Texas heat that's on its way! Oh, and come see me at a show some time!

2018- Comin' Hot Out The Gate

Well, I take it everyone not only survived the rush and bustle of the Christmas season but that you've (hopefully) made a full recovery. I believe that's the whole point of January.

So now that we're in February and life is getting back to normal I'm super pumped to say that this is going to be the busiest month I've had for traveling shows. You may be thinking, "well, how does this apply to me?"

Hey! I'm so glad you asked!

This means that since I'll be running across Texas, with a quick jump into Oklahoma, I'll likely be really close to you! There is a full list of shows that is above this blog entry. So if I AM close by, come see me and say hi, I'd love to meet ya! And keep your eye on that show list, it tends to grow on the regular. If you don't see any shows near you, feel free to submit a request on the contact page and I'll see what I can do to get a show booked in your area.

Something big I want to announce... On the 24th I will be opening at Banita Creek Hall in Nacogdoches, TX for Josh Ward. I'm honored to get the opportunity to not only play at such a great music venue in East Texas, but also to open for an artist as talented as Mr. Ward. It's going to be a great night and I hope those of you in the East Texas area will be able to make it out!

That's pretty much everything on my end. I hope this blog finds you and yours well! Thank you for reading, coming to shows, and showing your support for me and my music. Couldn't do it without y'all and I mean it sincerely.

Cheers, friends!

Howdy, Friends!

Hey There!

Welcome to my website! I'm so glad you're here, kick off your shoes and make yourself at home! There's a lot of exciting things going on right now and having a functioning website is definitely at the TOP of the list, I hope you take some time to look around and listen to some tunes. As this site is new I will continue to add things so please keep checking in for new show dates, merch and updates on this crazy music thing! For more information on shows and me and ramblings like this join my email list. *I pinky promise not to flood your inbox with junk.*

I want to take a second to thank you for 1) coming to check out my website and 2) supporting me and my music. I couldn't and wouldn't do what I love getting to do without people like you to listen to my music and come to shows so, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

DRUM ROLL if you please..... (tapping on your desk will work)

I'm excited to announce that I've got a crazy talented group of guys who have, for some unknown reason, agreed to get on stage with me so I can bring y'all some full band shows! These guys are all so awesome and I cannot wait for y'all to meet 'em! So check out the Shows tab for information on when these dudes are gonna be joining me on stage. Hopefully we will be seeing y'all out and about! :)

We're rolling from the season of Pumpkin Spice everything into the season of crazy shopping, pie eating, ugly Christmas sweater-wearing! And I think we can all agree it is the most wonderful time of the year. So with that I want to wish everyone and their families a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year! Hope to see you at a show soon and thank you again!
