For Anna, it all started in a closet. At about 8 years old, rummaging around her parents' closet, Anna came across a guitar case her father had tucked away. Finders keepers, as they say, and she began teaching herself to play on that guitar twice her age and much too big for her hands. About the time Anna grew into that guitar, she was Wyoming bound for an internship during her Junior summer at Texas A&M University. The rugged landscape and rich history brought forth songs of wanderlust, cowboys, and livin' to a Country sound with a touch of Folk and Americana feels.
Unable to stay out of Texas for long Anna came back and began playing shows all around the Bryan/College Station area at dive bars and on big stages. From playing solo shows to sharing the stage with other up and coming artists Anna has been traveling across the great state of Texas to share her stories and songs. She's competed in songwriter competitions such as the Top of The Pines Songwriter Contest (2016) where she took first place, and was competitor in the Texas Music Pickers Songwriter Competition (2017). She's also been honored to be interviewed on the ETX Rocks Show in Longview, Texas and Free Music Friday on KBTX in Bryan, Texas.
Now located in the heart of east Texas, Nacogdoches, Anna has just recorded a brand new acoustic album she's excited to share with you! Hop over to the Music tab, follow on Facebook, Instagram, or sign up for the e-mail list to stay in the loop with new songs and shows coming all the time!
